Objectives
To work, cooperate and assist in the development and establishment of good practices in the field of fire safety while observing the principles of market and the legislation of the Republic of Bulgaria.
To represent and protect the interests of its members afore govermental, municipal and international institutions and organizations.
To unite and create synergy in the work of its members in the process of providing their services for insuring fire safety in construction, by improving the quality of the offered services and activities in the specified area, in order to achieve effective protection of life, health and property of citizens and legal entities.
To work on comprehensively informing the society on the matters of fire safety in order to prevent fires and accidents, as well as to cooperate and establish among the society the importance of fire safety in construction.
To submit proposals to the appropriate authorities, having legislative initiative and participate in the darfting of legislative acts and adoption of decisions, affecting the activities of its members and the interest of the branch, whose representative is.
To facilitate interaction between its members.
To facilitate the relations of members with the governmental, municipal and international authorities and organizations.
To represent its members and protect their professional rights and interests in accordance with the interest of the society in the field of their activities in compliance with the Statute of NAFSC.
To support the improvement of the vocational tarining of the specialists involved in the provision of fire safety in construction.
To facilitate the relations of its members with other professional organizations such as Да Chamber of Engineers in the Investment Design (CEID), Bulgarian Construction Chamber (BCC), Assocation of Bulgarian Insurers (ABI) and other similar organizations.
Means for achieving the objectives
Development of strategies, programs and practices in the area of development and management of fire safety in construction, as well as lobying in favor of their realization.
Preparation of statements and proposals for amendment and supplementation of the legislative acts in the field of fire safety in construction.
Establishment of partnership with governmental and municipal institutions, Bulgarian and international organizations, working in the field of fire safety in construction, including participation in the activities of the state consultative bodies and councils, as well as establishment of relations and cooperation with similar local and foreign institutions.
Organizing and conduction seminars, conferences, meetings, symposia, round tables, discussions, lectures and other events on matters related to passive protection, active protection, equipment and designing in the field of fire safety in construction.
Introducing new training systems, forms and methods of education for improving the qualifications of its members, as well as providing information to the society on fire safety issues.
Increases the informational awareness of its members by establishing information channels for the exchange of materials, sharing applicable good practices in realtion to fire safety in construction;
Creation of databases, participation in national and international programs, assistance to other organizations working in the same field.
Researching the problems of fire safety in construction, related to passive and active fire protection measures, fire protection equipment and design of fire safety measures.
Appearances aimed to increase the interest of media, institutions, organizations and society towards the current issues in the field of fire safety in construction, as well as informational services aimed at prevention errors in dealing with problems in case of fires, accidents and disasters, protection of life, health and property of citizens and legal entities, nature and environment.
