DESIGN
The design process of fire safety is extremely complec and multicomponent which requires a large number of factors to be taken into account.
Fire Safety itself is a package of passive and active measures whose main objectives are:
1. Protection and preservation of human life and health.
2. Protection and preservation of properties and assets.
3. Reducing the risk and consequences of fires, disasters and accidents.
4. Reducing the negative effects and consequences of wildfires on nature.
With the advancement of contemporary technology the design process of Fire Safety enables the ensuring of greater seciruty and reliability. By means of software now it is possible to run fire simulations in a particular building and thus accurately to predict how the components of the Fire Safety should be built and positioned which fall in two main categories:
1. Active measures
2. Passive measures
In Regulation No Iz-1971 of 2009 on construction and technical rules and standards for ensuring fire safety the requirements and technical rules and regulations for ensuring fire safety are described and specified.
